As we approach Lake Titicaca, the world’s highest navigable lake, you will feel the cool air and tranquil atmosphere. The deep blue waters stretch out before us, and we will take in the beauty of the lake’s serene surroundings. Our next stop will be Copacabana, where we will visit the revered Virgen de Copacabana. This is a site of deep cultural and spiritual significance.

From there, we will set out across Lake Titicaca toward the legendary Island of the Sun and Moon. Upon arriving at Sun Island, we will explore the ancient Inca Steps. This is where we will ascend to discover the Pilkokaina Temple. This sacred archaeological site offers a glimpse into the rich history of the Inca civilization.

Prepare for your Lake Titicaca Bolivia Tour with our expert guide, starting at 7:30 AM from your hotel. Board a private van for a scenic two-hour drive through the Bolivian highlands.

Witness the transformation from urban landscapes to the breathtaking Andean highlands. We will be at an altitude of 3,800 meters, with the majestic Royal Range towering over 6,000 meters!

In about 3 hours, we will get to Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world and Copacabana. We will learn about the fascinating pre-Hispanic history. Also, we will visit a vibrant Catholic Sanctuary for the Virgen de Copacabana, the famous “Virgen Morena”. Depending on wich time of the year we are here we can be part of its annual massive pilgrimage.

Enjoy a leisurely stroll through its colorful markets and the local atmosphere during our Lake Titicaca Bolivia Tour.

Around noon, it’s time to board on your private boat again for a scenic cruise to Sun Island. The island is the legendary birthplace of the Inca Empire. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious traditional lunch with a stunning view of the lake and Royal Range.

After lunch, during the afternoon we will continue our Lake Titicaca Bolivia Tour visiting the original Inca steps. This is where the Inca started his pilgrimages. We will encounter the Pilkokaina Temple, a sacred site once inhabited by monks and Inca royalty.
